Lumberjacks Roll In Regional Tournament

The Warren Lumberjacks and Lady Jacks won their respective games Thursday evening in the regional basketball tournament being held at Monticello.  The boys beat Joe T. Robinson 68-57 while the girls blew out Arkedelpia 53-35.  A large Warren crowd was on hand for both contest.

The boys played first and at times looked like they would handle the Senators easily but too many turnovers kept the game close.  Warren played very well at times and put the game away with solid free throw shooting by Cobe Muldrew.  Vincent Stepps and Treylon Burks lead Warren in scoring.

The Lady Jacks jumped out in front of the lady Badgers quickly and never looked back.  They won 53-35.  All of the Warren girls played well.  Warren remains highly rated in class AAAA. 

The Lumberjacks will face conference foe Dumas Friday, February 23rd at 5:30 P.M.  The girls will play Star City at 7:00 P.M.  Big crowds are expected for both games.
