Jr. Jack Girls Track, 2nd In District

The Jr. Jack Lady Track team has just completed competing in the 84A District track meet and finished second.  Thirty- seven young ladies, grades 7-9 took part.  According to Girls Track Coach Janice Reddick, the lone seventh grader on the team was Abbigail Ibbara, whom Coach Reddrick called a "go getter".  Ten Jr. High athletes will now move up and compete with the Sr, Girls.

The Jr. Jack Ladies had three team members win their respective events during the district meet.
These were:
*Jade Watson, 200 meter dash
*Anissa Henry, Discus
*Faith Jackson, Long Jump

The 2017 team consist of the following:  Adriana Baggett, Brittany Bradford, Nay Sheen Daughtery,
Mar'shayla Haltiwanger, Janzee Hooper, Ty'shuna Stepps, Aryn Jenkins, Ashtyn Mann, Aubrey Mann, Yaneth Marquez, Abigail Merales, Naydelin Nunez, Elaina Reddin, Carisa Salinas, Alexandra Sanchez, Wendy Sandoval, Symone Smith, Brooklyn Solis, Perla Sosa, Precious Thomas, Jamiyah Thompson, Chloe Rauls, Biance Watson, Keshira Watson, Leslie White, Haley McDaniel, Addison Langford, Genesis Curtis, Anissa Henry, Jade Watson, Kia Kelley, India Young, Faith Jackson, Jamie Stallings, Iyania Smith, Chetalya Spears and Abbigail Ibbara.

The Sr. Girls District meet is set for next week in Crossett.
